1. What is Toastmasters?
Toastmasters International is a non-profit, educational organization with a mission to improve communications and leadership skills.
2. What will I learn at Toastmasters?
At the Cosmopolitan Tech Toastmasters club you will learn to:

3. Can I observe a meeting without joining?
Yes! All meetings are open to the public. Visitors are always welcome to check us out.
4. How many meetings can I attend before I decide to join?
Come as often as you want! We understand that life sometimes gets in the way. When you are ready to commit to better communication and leadership skills, we will be here to help.
5. What can I expect at a meeting?
- You will be warmly welcomed and seated next to an experienced speaker.
- You will be given an agenda, so you can follow along with the meeting.
- You will be warmly introduced to our group.
Shortly after the introductions we have a session of impromptu speaking called TableTopics. You are not expected to participate, but can do so if you wish. At the end of the meeting you may comment on your experience, but again you are not required to do any speaking unless you would like to.
6. How often does the club meet?
We generally meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, from 7pm to 9pm. Please check our home page, or club calendar page, to confirm the next meeting date.
7. Where do you meet?
Granada Hills Fire Station: 10124 Balboa Blvd., Granada Hills, CA 91344.
8. Where do I park?
There is some nearby street parking. There is also a parking lot next to the Fire Station, but you will need to walk around to the side entrance.

10. Do I need a reservation?
NO - Not at all! Please be our guest! It’s best to arrive a few minutes before 7:00pm, to get comfortable with the new location and environment.
